Educational Qualification:

For Trade Apprentices:

• Passed out trainees in the particular trade of NCVT pattern designated by Director General of Employment & Training (D.G.E.&T) and who have registered with Regional Directorate of Apprenticeship Training (RDAT), Chennai will only be considered for selection.

Respective Trades: Fitter/ PASAA/ Electronic Mechanic/ Wireman/ Turner/ Welder/ Horticulture Assistant
For Technician Apprentices:

• Diploma in Engineering or technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline.
• Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University in relevant discipline.
• Diploma under recognized Lateral Entry Scheme [(10+2)/ITI admitted in the second year of Diploma course] shall also be considered.

Respective Trades: Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Civil/ Mechanical
Training Period: 1 year
Minimum Age Limit:  Not less than 14 years
Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST candidates: 5 years
• OBC – Non Creamy Layer Candidates: 3 years
• Persons with disabilities: 10 years

Stipend:
For Trade Apprentices:

• Fitter/ Electronic Mechanic/ Wireman/ Turner: Rs.7,574/- pm
• Welder / PASAA: Rs.6,732/- pm
• Horticulture Assistant: Rs.5,891/-pm 1st Year, Rs.6,732/-pm 2nd Year

For Technician Apprentices:

• Civil/ Mechanical/ Electrical & Electronics/ Electronics & Communication: Rs.7,574/-pm

Selection Process:

Selection will be based on the performance in interview

How to Apply?

All interested and eligible candidates are advised to register themself in the apprenticeship portal and attend the interview with the duly filled application form along with the required documents on 08.01.2019 Wednesday (for ITI- Apprentices) and 09.01.2020 Thursday (for Diploma – Apprentices) at 9.00 AM to the following venue.
Note: Candidates who have registered themselves on the Apprenticeship Portal for Apprenticeship and who fulfil the eligibility criteria as indicated above will be allowed to attend the interview.
